The Student Chapter of IEEE is the oldest engineering student organization on campus, and was founded in the Fall semester of 1893.

- Employment Networking - Meet with Industry professionals such as Garmin, Bosch, Union Pacific, LI-COR, and many others looking for interns.
- Student Networking - Spend time around like-minded individuals that are taking many of the same classes you are taking. Find help with homework and projects among your peers.
- Student Resources - Our student lounge space in Nebraska Hall W194 is complete with two 3D printers, Lab computers, workspace, fridge/microwave, projector, limited locker space, free printing/copying, and a lab bench with oscilloscope, signal generators, power supplies, solder equipment, as well as many various electronic parts you may use. We also maintain a book shelf with notes, study material, and textbooks from many of the classes you may take.
- Projects - Get some experience designing and working on a project. Current projects we are involved with include a weather station project.
